World No. 13 Cameron Norrie is doing well in the Queen’s Club Championship. He reached the quarterfinals by defeating Jordan Thompson, and the Brit may well be aiming to go all the way to the Queen’s club. After losing to Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the third round of the French Open, Norrie is keeping Wimbledon hopes alive with his run at Queen’s. His recent victory got the attention of the renowned songwriter and actor, Jon Bon Jovi.

Norrie isn’t someone who is known for his friendships with celebrities outside the tennis world. So, the recent exchange between the Brit and the Hollywood star certainly surprised fans. As Wimbledon is just weeks away, Cam Norrie will face Sebastian Korda on Friday. Korda has huge respect for Norrie and has called him “tennis warrior”. Norrie planned to partner with Andy Murray in the doubles at Queen’s. But Murray decided against participating due to fatigue. But both Cam Norrie and his Hollywood backer don’t show signs of fatigue as the latter dropped encouraging text on Norrie’s Instagram.

After Norrie secured his victory against Thompson, he shared five pictures on his Instagram and captioned them, “Keeping it rolling at Queens.”

The British No. 1 Cam Norrie got the backing of the famed American songwriter and actor Jon Bon Jovi. The lead actor of Moon Light Valentino commented on the Instagram post of Norrie, “Go Cam, see you there.” And Norrie responded, “See you soon.”

But this is not the first time that the bromance of Hollywood and tennis has come forth through these two. In the past, too, Cam Norrie has talked about the backing he will get from the songwriter at Wimbledon. More than any of their exchanges, the way their friendship bloomed is much more interesting.

The bromance between a tennis star and a songwriter

The reason for the British tennis star’s bromance with Jon Bon Jovi is the former’s American girlfriend Louise Jacob. She studies with the daughter of the American songwriter at a university in the US. So this bromance has its roots in Cam Norrie‘s romance with his girlfriend. The Bromance was earlier in the news when Cam Norrie talked about it during the Miami Open in March. Both of them met in Florida and had lunch together. Also, Norrie visited his Palm Beach Bon Jovi mansion. Both of them later visited the local tennis club and practiced there. Later, Norrie shared the clip on Instagram.
