Carlos Alcaraz recently received a great compliment from former Croatian tennis player, Ivan Ljubicic. Referring to Alcaraz’s skills similar to Roger Federer’s, this world’s former number-three tennis star lifted the Spanish tennis prodigy, Carlos Alcaraz up to the true elites of the sport. Now Alcaraz showed extraordinary tennis skills this year with an unbelievable victory in the Wimbledon tournament. So much so that it has vastly impressed former ATP star Ljubicic.
Ljubicic’s compliment surely meant something great for Alcaraz following the fact that the former also coached Roger Federer. Previously he called Alcaraz a “sick combination” of the tennis big three, Federer, Djokovic, and Nadal. Now this legendary coach dropped another great compliment for the Spaniard.

In a recent podcast, Ivan Ljubicic revealed how much he likes Alcaraz’s unpredicted moves on the court. Ljubicic addressed Alcaraz’s way of bringing refreshing moves, which never makes his game boring after a point. He said- “For me to see super interesting match, I need contrast of styles. I need one player who attacks then the other one who defends. When you see point after point playing played in the exact same way, I think it brings down the how to say the attractiveness of the of the match.”
