While she shot the episode with the 42-year-old Swiss tennis legend, behind the scenes, it was the 20-time Grand Slam champion who interacted with the broadcaster’s mother.

She took to her Instagram account to share a picture of herself standing alongside Federer, with her mother on the other side. Along with that, she expressed her excitement with what was going on with the caption and wrote, “And mom got to meet him too.” 

However, that was not it. Following that perfect picture, she also shared a candid moment in which the Swiss tennis legend was seen sharing a handshake with her mother, as both of them looked happy. Apparently, she wrote, “newest Guthrie superfan,” hinting towards the equation between her mother and the tennis legend.

Moreover, looking into those amazing pictures, it won’t be wrong to say that just in a day, the 42-year-old tennis legend might have made a good friendship with Guthrie and her mother.
