In a recent video posted on Instagram by the official handle of the Shanghai Rolex Shanghai Masters, Roger Federer expresses his excitement at returning to tennis events after 4 years. He reflects on the special feeling of reuniting with fellow players and revisiting the tournament venue. Federer highlights the noticeable changes, such as the gym’s transformation, which he finds impressive and a valuable addition to the venue. He mentions the availability of a warm-up spot for full sprints, even though it’s not his preferred pre-match routine.

“We are back. Now that I am not so much at tennis events anymore, it’s always special to see the guys again, a little bit and see the venue again. And you always see small adjustments like here’s an example this is the gym. I don’t remember this I didn’t have this wonderful warm-up spot. So yeah, you can do full sprints here. I mean that is not my thing before matches but it is good to have the space,” said Roger Federer about the changes that he saw in Shanghai upon his return to the stadium.

However, since he bowed out of the tournament, Roger Federer was offered back his room. He said that he was sorry for him but expressed his happiness to get his locker room back. Adding to this, the Swiss maestro shared his amusement as he witnessed some changes in his locker room as well. He said that it is exciting to see some changes every year in the locker room.
