Roger Federer’s New ‘RF’ Caps Sold Out 10 Minutes After Launch

A new line of caps inscribed with the initials of Roger Federer has found favor with his fans across the globe, selling out in minutes.
The 20-time Grand Slam winner reacquired the ‘RF’ logo from sportswear giant Nike and it was inscribed on the new collection of caps designed by Japanese apparel brand Uniqlo.

New Roger Federer caps inscribed with old logo designed by Uniqlo
Federer is currently the global face of Uniqlo and sports its logo in matches. After sealing a massive endorsement deal with the Japanese apparel major in 2018, Federer literally lost the right to his own initials.
Federer announced the return of RF caps on Twitter
The Swiss star posted a video on Twitter last week, announcing that the caps, with his trademark initials, will be put up for sale again by the brand that he currently endorses.

Fresh off the Uniqlo line, the caps come in eight attractive colors and have already sparked a global sales craze.

The caps were sold out within ten minutes of being launched globally by the apparel major.
The caps were launched on Tuesday and buyers hardly had time to browse through the colors before they were sold out.
Brand Federer alive and kicking
The Japanese apparel giant put the caps in all eight colors, 200 pieces for each, up for sale on its website and they literally vanished in no time.

The caps come under different price bands, with the lowest being 49 dollars and the highest priced at 200 dollars. A set of caps in all eight colors has been priced at $593.08.

His fans didn’t see much tennis from him this year, though, as an extended rehabilitation process after a knee surgery kept him out of action.
Australian Open was the only tennis event he featured in all year. While injury kept him away from tennis this year, Federer has resumed training to be back in action next season.
