Now that the legend Roger Federer has announced his return to tennis with Laver Cup, it has got fans excited. But the possibility of getting to see the big four play together makes it thrilling.

With the announcement of the return from Swiss legend Roger Federer, this year’s Laver Cup has already stirred the interest of everyone. Notably, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray have also confirmed their participation. The only big four players missing was Novak Djokovic. However, the 35-year-old has some good news for the fans.

In a recent interview, Djokovic confirmed that his agent is in talks with the Laver Cup team, and he might feature in it. “It is a possibility, my agent is communicating with the Laver Cup team. We will know after Wimbledon,” he said.

Facing Thanasi Kokkinakis from Australia, the 35-year-old showed full domination and breezed to a 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 victory. The 20-time Grand Slam champion was phenomenal throughout the match; He broke the Aussie’s serve five times en route to an easy two-hour victory. The Serb has now extended his winning streak in Wimbledon to 23 matches.

Earlier in the first match of the tournament, Djokovic dropped a set against Soon-woo Kwon. While it had his fans worried, the 35-year-old took just 1 more match to get back in rhythm.
