The 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer has not played since Wimbledon 2021. The Swiss Maestro last graced the court in July, when he lost to Polish star Hubert Hurkacz in the quarter-final.

After Wimbledon, Federer aggravated his knee, which already had a bad history. In fact, in 2020, Federer underwent surgery on his right knee twice. Following his exit from the tour in July 2021, he had his knee operated on for a third time.

Ever since then, Federer has been in the process of recovery, slowly but gradually regaining his health. Now, there are rumors from Switzerland that the legendary player has finally returned to training.
