Italian pasta brand Barilla saw this as an opportunity to celebrate the Swiss star’s milestone with the fans. Hoping to bring fans closer to Federer, they have started a hashtag competition with the fans in order to test their creativity.

Barilla has decided to host a contest on Twitter for Roger Federer’s 40th birthday. Fans have to comment on the post with #RF40Love and Barilla will make something out of the comments. However, the details are unknown to the common man, even though it will be a special gift.
Barilla and Federer go a long way in this partnership and have a special bond. Federer even replied to their tweet with an inside joke, “Mazie Grille.”

Roger’s 2021 till now
Roger Federer has had a silent season this year. With injury issues and lack of form, the Swiss star has only managed nine wins this year. He enjoys a 9-4 win-loss record this year in five tournaments. However, none of them have been title worthy, and he has not been up to his mark either.

Federer did reach the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Championships in July, but he failed to go all the way. He also withdrew from the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer on account of injuries. He will hopefully return on court for the US Open later this month.
