However, Federer has been out of action for over nine months now. His last appearance was a quarterfinal defeat against Hubert Hurkacz at The Championships, Wimbledon in July, last year. Recently, Federer visited a city in Italy and fans can’t stop talking about it.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion has had a long history of knee problems. Further, this injury has kept him away from tennis since the last year. Moreover, he even underwent surgery to repair the damage done to his right knee and keep the hopes of making a comeback alive.

However, the Swiss legend has been giving some positive updates on his injury. Earlier this month, he revealed that his rehabilitation process was going strong. This comes as great news for his fans, who have been waiting eagerly to watch the Swiss maestro in action. Further, he also shared a video of his training session, in which Federer looked sharp as ever.

While we await Federer’s comeback, as he had earlier hoped to return at the Laver Cup in September. However, if all goes well, there will be a high possibility that he returns earlier than anticipated.
