Recently, in an adorable revelation, Roger Federer candidly expressed his emotions for Mirka mentioning how they “spent the whole life basically together already.”

Extra TV shared an interview with Roger Federer on their official X platform, where he spoke about his life after retirement, his fatherhood, and his wife Mirka. “The good thing is we started dating when I was about eighteen and a half, nineteen, I was super young at that time and so we spent the whole life basically together already”- said the world’s former number-one ATP star. He further spoke about how post-retirement his life has changed because of his kids.

Speaking about his two beautiful twins, Federer mentioned that his routine has become simpler after his retirement. “We had the first half of my career without kids, and then second half with kids so logistics were insane. So now life is completely different, you know. But we are happy that we’re back to, I don’t know, a better routine”- said Federer.

Now, this Swiss tennis legend has been a true family man, who never failed to speak about his wife’s contribution to his professional success. During his second honorary graduation speech, Federer couldn’t help but shower his love on Mirka by accepting Mirka’s generosity to help him with his professional goals. “I feel so very lucky that my incredible wife, Mirka who makes every joy in my life, even brighter, and our four amazing children, Myla, Charlene, Leo, and Lenny are here with me today. And more important, that we are here for each other every day”- he said.

In fact, during Federer’s Laver Cup tour in 2022, where he retired from tennis, this world’s number-one tennis star delved deeper into his loving equation with Mirka. Revealing how his wife became his strength, Federer said- “She could have stopped me a long, long time ago but she didn’t. She kept me going and allowed me to play, so it’s amazing – thank you.”
