Novak Djokovic‘s limited participation in tournaments has kept him out of top headlines this year. Coming back with an alarming update, the Serb recently announced his separation from his coach Goran Ivanisevic. Besides being shocked by the sudden split, one common question that the fans currently hold is, who will be his new coach?

The shocking update is making the rounds on social media with fans coming up with multiple names that could potentially coach the Serb, considering the fact that crucial events like the French Open and the Paris Olympics lie ahead. Dropping in a surprise, there were many suggestions for one common name, Roger Federer.

In a post on X(formerly Twitter) that welcomed the engagement of fans with a question, “Just for fun, who would you like to see as Novak’s new coach?” a fan, simply suggested the name, “Federer”.

Another fan, approving the thought of the Swiss tennis maestro being Djokovic’s new coach, had the same thought, “Federer would be fun…just imagine nole winning and Federer cheering for him(not from inside).”

A comment, dropping an imaginative scenario, said, “Just imagine Novak is playing against Rafa, Roger is cheering and coaching Novak from the sideline,” with a desire to see the big three together once again.

One suggested, “burn on online fans” if Rafa or Federer were to take on this role, a comment doubled up the fun.

Another comment, with a clear intention of having fun, suggested Federer’s name as well.

With several other comments on a similar note, the fans indulged in a fun conversation imagining Roger Federer getting involved with Djokovic in a new way. While news of the new coaching team is awaited, it will be different than what Djokovic and Ivanisevic shared, for more than one reason.

Novak Djokovic shares insights of his ‘rock-solid’ partnership with Goran Ivanisevic
