And a fan recently showered his love as he pulled out a huge gesture for the 42-year-old Swiss tennis legend.

Roger Federer with his wife, Mirka, drew a lot of attention when they attended an event during their low-key vacation to Hong Kong. Many fans were excited to catch a glimpse of the 20-time Grand Slam champion on the streets; among them was Hu Zhitong, the son of Wu Wanfang, who got an autograph on his arm.

The former world number one’s fan took to his Instagram account to share a video in which he asked for an autograph from the Swiss tennis legend. In return, the 20-time Grand Slam champion agreed to give him an autograph, which he signed on his arm with a paint pen. Along with that, he wrote, “When Federer signs it on your arm, then you tattoo it on your body.” (translated from Mandarin using Google)

Within no time, Hu Zhitong went to the tattoo shop and got it inked. Subsequently, he also shared a lot of pictures highlighting how he had tattooed the autograph. Roger Federer has won 19 Fans’ Favorite Awards, a testament to his ongoing popularity among tennis fans.

Apparently, in the midst of mixed emotions, the club declared its dissolution last year, bringing an end to a chapter in its history. But the members of ‘fans4roger’ made one last request to him as their last act as a group, and that was to meet him in person.

Federer had booked the entire ship, the Diamont, just for his supporters, so they could enjoy the tranquil circumstances prior to his much-anticipated arrival. Every fan received a baseball cap personally signed by the legend himself upon boarding. The former World Number One enhanced the experience by introducing his parents, Lynette and Robert Federer, who share a special affinity with his fans!
