Recently, a former coach of Roger Federer shared a video where players chose Rafa in a crucial situation.
Nadal has yet to make a significant return to the court, and the tennis world awaits it on a bated breath. Recently, the former coach of Federer, Paul Annacone, talked about the effect he has had on tennis players. A user shared a video where an interviewer asked various players who they would choose to play a set if it meant saving their lives. The answer, by everyone, was the King of Clay.

The players that chose Rafa were Dominic Thiem, Grigor Dimitrov, Novak Djokovic, Alex De Minaur, Félix Auger-Aliassime, Borna Coric, and even Novak Djokovic.

Some of the greatest players of the ATP chose Rafa to save their lives, which shows the precedent that has been set by the Spaniard. The Spaniard has managed to live large in the minds of these players and will now hope to return to tennis to make an even bigger impact. While his return to the clay slam is still unsure, it has created quite the excitement amongst the fanbase.

According to different sources, the 2024 French Open will be Nadal’s final appearance at this major. Thus, fans are eager to see him once again. As a result, the French Open public ticket line topped 700,000!

Nadal came back to play in the Netflix Slam but could not compete in the following Indian Wells Masters or the Miami Open, hoping to recover well enough for the clay season. Tennis fans are hoping they can see Rafa in the French Open and watch him go far in the tournament. However, his presence in the tournament is based on his health, and there is no clear information on it.
