World’s former number one tennis star Roger Federer surprised his fans by posing with another sports legend for the Oscars. Federer attended the 96th Academy Awards in pursuit of presenting his recent partnership with Oliver Peoples, a luxury brand of eyewear. Now, this tennis legend’s elite presence brought a different joy to the Dolby Theatre. More than that, Federer amazed his fans as he was spotted getting clicked with a great football legend at the event. He is none other than Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Roger Federer’s white tuxedo and Gucci black trousers left an impression on the attendees of the Oscars 2024. However, it looks like Federer was not the only sports personality, who graced Oscars’ red carpet with a charming presence.

This Swiss tennis legend recently shared some photos from his recent attendance at the 96th Academy Awards on his official Instagram profile. In the second photo, fans spotted Federer enjoying cigars with Germany’s legendary midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Schweinsteiger is also the husband of former world’s number-one WTA legend, Ana Ivanovic. Like Roger and Mirka Federer, this famous sports celebrity couple also attended the Oscars 2024 event at the Dolby Theatre. Ivanovic and Schweinsteiger were invited as Rolex’s guests since the brand has been a long sponsor in Ivanovic’s career.

Schweinsteiger wore a classic black tux-sets with a black bow tie as he posed with Federer. Schweinsteiger’s famous WTA legend wife, Ana Ivanovic stole the red carpet with her Alex Perry satin bright yellow one-shoulder caped dress. She accessorized it with a beautiful Rolex watch, hoops, and a statement finger ring. Following Ivanovic and Schweinsteiger’s presence with Federer’s family, fans believed that the 96th Academy Awards was a truly star-studded affair.

This Bayern Munich midfielder commented-“My wife is here today. She has to work, so to speak, and I am the accompaniment that has fit quite well,”

However, it was not just Federer and Ivanovic who graced the event with their presence from tennis. Another WTA legend was also present at the 96th Academy Awards.

Serena Williams wore two beautiful matching gloves with her dress to enhance the overall look. Donning a beautiful Rolex in one hand and a statement finger ring with a diamond necklace, Williams stole the red carpet as a perfect blonde. Her glossy lips were also unmissable for the media and her fans. Serena Williams dropped her photos from the event on her official Instagram profile and wrote- “That pre carpet glow.”
