Recently, Laver Cup’s official page announced Rafa’s entry in this year’s event. Following that, not just fans but his friend and former pro-Roger Federer also came forward to express his eagerness.

Coming forward to express his excitement, the Swiss tennis maestro couldn’t hold back from greeting his old friend and therefore, dropped a major hint on his Instagram.

“Excited to have you join us in Berlin,” Federer wrote, remembering the amazing moments he shared with the Spaniard on the courts of the Rod Laver Arena. What else grabbed the attention of the fans was a small statement that the 42-year-old added along with his excited thoughts. “See you there!” he wrote, dropping a major hint at his presence for this year’s event.

The small statement not only raised speculation about his own presence at the Laver Cup 2024 but also ignited a fire that gave rise to countless expectations in the hearts of the fans. Federer, who signed out from his professional career with the same event back in 2022, played his final match alongside Rafa on the court.
