Daniil Medvedev has been quite vocal with his dejection about the crowd’s clear favoritism for Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open 2022 final. In fact, he even said that it has ceased his excitement to play at the biggest platforms in tennis.

However, his compatriot Aslan Karatsev has some advice for the World No. 2. According to Karatsev, “it is pretty normal” for crowds to support Rafael Nadal.

Nadal believes the Russian is smart enough and doesn’t need any advice. Moreover, he also said that he “felt sorry” about the way the crowd was clearly in his own favor.
Nevertheless, Nadal expressed his belief in Medvedev and stated that soon enough, the crowds all over the world will cheer for him and want him to win every match.
