In an interview with the New York Times, he broke down his gameplay. Moreover, he stated, “There’s pretty much never going to be a chance to go from defense to offense in the middle of a point against him.”
However, he made sure to bring in the name of the only player who could do so. He added, “Unless you are a ridiculous athlete like Novak.” Someone who proved to be a challenge to him, Paul knows what it takes to take down Alcaraz. He stated, “Everyone now only has one choice.”

With a one-liner, he summed up that chance. Paul concluded, “You got to get forward and go on offense before he does because once he is on offense, you’re probably toast.”
Alcaraz is not going to take it easy with his run as he chases the record of defending a US Open title after Roger Federer did it in 2008.
