‘Security Just Stood There’ – Stefanos Tsitsipas Going Out of His Way to Help Lady Fan Who Made a Blunder Wins Fans Hearts at Australian Open 2023

Stefanos Tsitsipas is making the headlines again. And this time it is for something he did on the court, but it isn’t related to tennis. On Instagram, the official account of the Australian Open posted a video of Tsitsipas doing something fun and chivalric at the same time. Needless to say, fans are loving this video more than ever. In the video, Tsitsipas is seen helping a lady pick her purse up.

Fans have reacted to how cute and gentlemanly this whole behavior is and before his match against Lehecka, fans are just trying to blow off some tension with this video.

Fans have blown up the post on Instagram with their comments. One fan wrote, “What a gentleman 🥰”, after being impressed with Tsitsipas. Another says, “He is a nice guy actually 🥹.”

Another fan has put their wits to it and tweaked the caption to a funny alternative, “Tsitsistaff😎”.

On the other hand, fans are calling Tsitsipas a “Gentleman ❤️❤️❤️” after this sweet gesture. He really could have done nothing but chose to turn around and go back to help the woman. Considering the pressure that the players are under before their matches, it is really nice of him to divert his attention to the fans.

While the tennis community is praising Tsitsipas for being cute and filled the comment section with things like, ” Naaaaw ❤️ ” and “So cool of Stef👏👏👏”, some have also pointed out how the security guard in blue is just standing there, facing the fans, without so much as moving a muscle. They said, “Security just stood there 😂”

The video that has now gone viral only within less than an hour of posting is captioned, “Tsitsipurse”. In the video, Stefanos is seen prepping before the match when an overexcited fan’s t-shirt falls out of the stands. Tsitsipas notices this and immediately picks it up and returns to the fan. The t-shirt seems to look like the Czech flag and maybe the fans are here to cheer his opponent, J. Lehecka.

However, soon after, a lady who was bending and trying to capture Tsitsipas’ adorable moment on her phone loses her purse in the same way as the t-shirt. By then, Tsitsipas had already turned around, but he went back and helped her pick it up too. While all the fans in the box started cheering and laughing delightedly at this chivalric gesture, Tsitsipas seemed unfazed.
