Throughout his tennis journey, the former American tennis player, Andy Roddick, delivered some dominating performances on the tennis court. Additionally, Roddick stunned a plethora of tennis fans when he won the US Open title in 2003. Later on, the former World No 1 tennis player tied the knot with the popular American actress and model, Brooklyn Decker.

Decker is well-known for her great performances in films such as the action/sci-fi film, ‘Battleship.’ However, her tennis star husband, Roddick previously made a surprising revelation by stating that Decker is not her favorite actress. He also revealed the name of another American actress who he considers to be his favorite.

Andy Roddick talked about his favorite actress

The former US Open champion was previously featured in an interview where he talked about the Grand Slam event in New York. Andy Roddick also talked about his stellar performances when he participated in the US Open during his tennis journey. Meanwhile, Roddick was asked about his previous revelation about his favorite actress. The popular American news anchor, Rosanna Scotto asked Roddick, “Who was your favorite actress now you’re married to Brooklyn? She’s one of my favorite actresses; you did not say that was your favorite.”

She revealed that the former American tennis player doesn’t consider his actress wife, Brooklyn Decker as his favorite. Scotto went on to reveal the name of Roddick’s favorite actress. She stated, “You said your favorite actress was Jessica Chastain. Now did your wife see this article yet”.

Roddick replied by stating, “I don’t think so she doesn’t really pay attention.” Scotto was sarcastically accused that she got Roddick in trouble. However, the former US Open champion stated, “No that’s fine that’s a place I’ve been many times with my wife so it’s not a big deal.”

He went on to say, “uh you know I don’t know that she would have wanted me to say her but I will tell you that she’s my favorite wife that I’ve ever had!”

Roddick also discusses the actor he would like to see play himself

During the interview, Roddick was told about the inspirational movie, ‘King Richard‘ which portrayed the childhood journey of Venus and Serena Williams. Roddick was further asked if he would like to see any actor play him in a movie like ‘King Richard.’ The former World No 1 tennis player answered by stating he thinks the Twitter polls would say ‘Stiffler.’

Roddick went on to say that he doesn’t know that it would be the box office draw of ‘King Richard’. The Former US Open champion added that a movie based on him isn’t happening anytime soon. Additionally, Roddick stated that he really liked the movie based on the Williams sisters and their father, Richard Williams.
