Nick Kyrgios is one of those players who aren’t just about the sport. The Australian tennis ace loves to explore things and doesn’t let his career control the flow of his life. He has found the balance and is advancing in both professional and personal life. Kyrgios recently furthered his reach in Grand Slams by entering the finals of Wimbledon for the first time in his career.

In the case of his personal life, he has managed to find a person who is there to support him at all times. Speaking of which, the Aussie recently opened up about his girlfriend and how it feels to have her around during tournaments.

Nick Kyrgios about the special feeling

While in an interview with Prakash Amritraj after the opening round victory at the Canadian Masters, Kyrgios spoke about how introducing Costeen Hatzi to new places is one of his biggest relishes. He said, “definitely, it’s pretty special that I get to show her the world. I get to show her all the cool things for the first time, which is amazing.”

Thereafter he added, “She supports me she understands. Sometimes it’s tough. You know last week we didn’t have all the time in the world to go explore, so she is learning, I think as well, but she does so much for me.”

“I don’t want you taking about her too much.” Kyrgios chucked and said, “But she’s awesome, she is hilarious. She makes me laugh all the time.”

Further, Hatzi is a 21-year-old Sydney based blogger and an influencer. The Aussie made his relationship with her public in December 2021 and since then she often accompanies him on tours. In fact, Kyrgios credited her for his recent Citi Open sweep.

Kyrgios’ next opponent

The 27-year-old is currently participating in the National Bank Open. After getting the better of the Argentine professional Sebastian Baez, the Aussie star is gearing up to meet the reigning US Open champion Daniil Medvedev. He will lock horns with the Russian for a spot in the last 16 in Montreal.

This will be their fourth encounter, with Kyrgios having won in two of their previous three encounters. They are set to square off on 10th August in the Centre Court of the ATP 1000 event.
