Facing Sweden’s Mikael Ymer in the semifinal, Alcaraz picked up a good start to book a seat in the final. But along the way, he lost his footing.
Notably, at 6-5 down in the opening set, the Spanish teenager spiraled down with his game. He even served a double fault when facing set point, causing him to lose the first set 7-5.
