‘Similar to Facetiming My Gran’ – Rafael Nadal’s Lack of Instagram Knowledge Was Once Hilariously Trolled by Andy Murray

The big three, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic, are undoubtedly the best tennis players of all time. Their skills and records are a notch above the rest of the pack. However, there’ s one player who had consistent victories against them, Andy Murray. The Briton showed a lot of promise early in his career. However, he failed to capitalize like the other three. The three-time Grand Slam champion had a career stricken with injuries which was one of the reasons his career could not rise to the level of the big three.

The four of them share a close bond and huge respect for each other. Back in 2020, when the entire world experienced COVID-19 lockdown for the first time, tennis was on a halt. Sitting at home, Murray and Nadal came up with an Instagram live conversation to entertain their fans. However, there’s something funny that happened.

Murray compares Nadal to his Grany

Initially, in the live season, the 36-year-old was struggling to get it right. At one point, Nadal‘s camera was pointing towards the ceiling. Amused, Murray took the screenshot and shared it on the Instagram story.

“Instagram live with @rafaelnadal very similar to FaceTiming my gran… Camera pointing at the ceiling,” he wrote in the caption.

It was hilarious as many fans reacted to the post, and recently it came up again on social media after a fan account posted it on Twitter.

In any sport, there’s a lot of talk about talent. A young player with talent is always backed to mature and flourish with time. However, it doesn’t happen always. Many a time we have seen talented players going off track over time. Recently, the 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal spoke about what talent means to him.

“Talent? For me, it’s not having a beautiful game or hitting the ball very hard. You can have the talent to hit hard to make a nice slice, to not miss anything. But the goal is to win,” He said.
