Alexander Zverev has been on top of his game at the Miami Open 2022. At the Hard Rock Stadium, he beat Thanasi Kokkinakis in the round of 16 to advance to a quarterfinal clash against Casper Ruud. He talked about what he thinks about the player and his strategy to play against him.

When asked about Casper Ruud, the German player said, “He’s playing great tennis. When he’s playing like that, he can beat anybody.”
The Norwegian player took down Cameron Norrie in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 6-4. He has not dropped a single set yet and has shown his strong gameplay on the court.

Both the players have been part of Team Europe in the Laver Cup and the press didn’t miss out on this. When asked if the fact that they were teammates carried any weight, Zverev replied, “We got a lot closer. He’s somebody that is quite around the tour. He’s somebody that you can’t hate.”
