Wawrinka Shares a Story Regarding Lewis Hamilton’s Jewelry Ban Protest
In a recent development, the FIA has banned F1 drivers from wearing jewelry in a race. The ban has not gone well with the F1 star Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton has multiple ear piercings and loves his jewelry. However, in a protest to the latest decision by FIA, Hamilton showed up at the pre-race press conference with eight rings, four necklaces, three watches, one bracelet, and his earrings.

The three-time Grand Slam winner is all set to feature in the Italian Open. he will start his campaign against the 14th seed Reilly Opelka of America.

The former Grand Slam champion is not looking in a good form this year. The 37-year-old has played two matches since his return and lost both. While his opponent is a young 24-year-old promising player who made it to the semifinals last year in Rome. The two have faced each other at Wimbledon 2019 (only once) where Opelka was the winner.
