Stanislas Wawrinka is a big-match player. The Swiss star has often stepped up his game when it has mattered the most. Putting on brilliant performances in major tournaments, Wawrinka has gone on to win three Grand Slam titles during his illustrious career. Moreover, these victories have come at a time when the likes of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic have dominated the men’s circuit.

Apart from his love for tennis, the 37-year-old has been quite expressive of his fondness for filmography. In 2020, Wawrinka teamed up with one of his good friends, Kev Adams, a French comedian and screenwriter to produce a film. Recently, he shared some glimpses of him enjoying his time on the sets of a French comedy show.

Talking about his disappointing campaign in the clay-court Grand Slam tournament, Wawrinka said, “Obviously it’s a great disappointment to lose in a Grand Slam, but it’s the reality of my life now. I knew before the match that I needed to work a lot physically, to work my tennis. It’s not [that] I’m playing badly or I’m not good, but I’m not yet feeling good for matches like that.”
