Stars Galore at US Open as Mean Girls’ Amanda Seyfried, Trevor Noah, and Kal Penn Witness Nick Kyrgios Get Defeated at US Open 2022

An outstanding performance by Karen Khachanov against Nick Kyrgios helped him advance to his first-ever Grand Slam semifinal at the US Open. After defeating defending champion Daniil Medvedev earlier in the competition, Kyrgios was considered the favorite to win the US Open title this year.
However, the Russian prevailed in a thrilling five-set match despite the latter’s best efforts. On the other hand, celebrities such as Amanda Seyfried, Trevor Noah, and Kal Penn were in the house to watch the exciting competition getting unfold.

Karen witnessed another Karen
Star of the teen comedy from 2004, Amanda Seyfried, best known for her role as Karen Smith in Mean Girls, was spotted cheering on the team from the stands. Other celebrities, such as Trevor Noah and Kal Penn, were also there to witness the intriguing match.

Nick Kyrgios ‘the furious’

When Kyrgios lost in the quarterfinals to Russian Karen Khachanov in a five-set marathon, he lost his cool and smashed two rackets on the floor.
“I feel like I’ve let so many people down. These four tournaments [the grand slams] are the only ones that ever are going to matter. It’s just like you’ve got to start it all again. I have to wait till the Australian Open. It’s just devastating. Like, it’s heartbreaking. Not just for me, but for everyone that I know that wants me to win.” said the 27-year-old Australian.
