Stefanos Tsitsipas created a Grand Slam semi-final record

Stefanos Tsitsipas beat the no.11 seed, Jannik Sinner, by 6-3,6-4,6-2. The match only lasted around 2 hours and 6 minutes. During the match, Tsitsipas played some unbelievable shots snd Sinner had practically no answer against them. Tsitsipas’ backhand was especially on fire today.

Interestingly, we saw a rain interruption during this match and they had to close the roof of the stadium for the remainder of the match. When the rain break came, many thought that would help Sinner to gain some momentum back. However, that was not the case, as Tsitsipas absolutely dismantled the Italian.
