Stefanos Tsitsipas Makes his Way Into an Elite List of Celebrities

As 2020 comes to an end, the tennis superstars are not only ruling the tennis awards but accepting worldwide appreciation. There has been some great news coming for the World No.6 Stefanos Tsitsipas. His fans are also overjoyed after receiving the great news.
Tsitspas ended up on the 57th spot in the list of the 100 most handsome faces of 2020. This is the second occasion when he has made it to the elite list.

The 22-year-old Greek player is interestingly way ahead of even some of the actors like Chris Evans and Lucas Bravo. It is thus, a really great accomplishment for the player.
Tsitsipas was able to make his way by fighting about 135,000 male celebrities and over a million public nominations. What was even more incredible was that he made his way into the list beating about 300 men who were there in the list of 400 chosen nominees.
Famous Youtuber Felix Kjellberg, popularly known as ‘Pewdiepie’, was No.1 on the list this time. This is the sixth time when he is a part of the list.

It has been a year of topsy-turvy for Tsitsipas. Although he performed really well, he choked at the crucial stages of the tournament. He didn’t have a great start as he got eliminated from the group stage of the ATP Cup 2020.
He got a big blow at the Australian Open 2020 where Milos Raonic defeated him in straight sets in the third round. After the tragic start, he finally came in his form and gained momentum. The Open 13 was the only tournament he won in 2020 by beating Felix Auger Aliassime in the finals.

He was able to reach the finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships but lost to Novak Djokovic in the finals. The US Open 2020 proved to be a disaster again where Borna Coric defeated him in a close encounter in the third round.
After that, Tsitsipas played really well at the French Open 2020. He managed to reach the semis of the Slam and gave some tough fight to Djoker there but lost the final set. Though he could not manage to win many titles, Tsitsipas proved that he was one of the players who had the potential to beat the best on his day.
