Novak Djokovic is a clear favorite amongst the Big-3 to win the US Open

Even though Rafael Nadal can still give a tough fight to Djokovic at grand slams, the world number one could get the better of the Spaniard in their future encounters, thanks to that dominating performance in the French Open semi-final matchup last month.

Coming to Federer, it’s safe to say that he will be giving his best at the US Open this year. But, the fact that a lot of next-gen stars were able to defeat him over the years just makes it tough for the Swiss Maestro to win another grand slam title.

With Novak going strong at the on-going Tokyo Olympics, he will be the clear-favorite to win the US Open and complete the golden slam in a calendar year. The US Open this year will become an entertaining watch for fans as Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer try to win their 21st major title.

Martina Navratoliva projects 24 major titles for Djokovic by the end of his career

Going at the same rate, how many grand slams will the Serb win by the end of his career? Legendary tennis player Martina Navratilova answers this question as she made predictions on several tennis players including the likes of Naomi Osaka, Daniil Medvedev, and Serena Williams.

24….somewhere between 23 and 25. I am settling on 24. He’s a young 34-year-old and he’s still got another 3 or 4 years left, you’ve got to figure he’ll win at least one a year, so yeah, maybe even more. But, 24 is a good number, I think”, mentioned Navratilova.

Looking at the way Djokovic is peaking in majors at the moment, it’s evident that adding four more grand slam titles to his tally might not be that difficult. However, the onus is on the next-gen players to give stiff competition to the Big-3 and deny them from winning more titles.

How many majors do you think Djokovic will end up with?
