Growing up as a kid, various people have a special liking towards any star and the same was the case with aspiring tennis sensation Chris Eubanks. Throughout his childhood, there was only one star that he adored, Jamie Foxx. From watching his shows to his movies, there is barely anything that he needs to do now to prove how much he aspires from the Hollywood star.

Talking about the same in his recent podcast, Chris Eubanks reflected on a special place that he has for Foxx. Not only this, he also talked about his favourite movie and how with time passing, things have changed between the two.

In a recent revelation, Chris Eubanks revealed his fandom for Jamie Foxx. While growing up, he watched every episode of Foxx’s show and almost every movie he was in. Eubanks then went ahead to suggest that the movie “Ray” was his favorite movie of all time. Eubanks remembers being a young teen dreaming of meeting Foxx, thinking he was the coolest guy ever.

Even today, the one thing that Chris Eubanks gushes about is getting a chance to meet his idol. It would be a dream come true moment for him as he would love to share some moments with the star who framed his childhood.

“I was a massive Jamie Foxx fan my entire life. So I grew up, I’ve seen every episode of The Jamie Foxx show. I’ve seen almost every movie he’s done. Ray actually probably should have been my call for favorite movie.yeah, I absolutely love that movie. So, yeah, that that to me is it’s even now it’s a bit of a surreal thing because I just think back to like, the 13-14 year old kid sitting there watching Jamie Foxx saying, “Man, if there’s anybody I could ever meet, it’d be him. Like that guy. That seems so cool man. Like I would love the opportunity to meet him,”” aid Eubanks in the podcast.

Thus, Chris Eubanks shared his childhood experience and a soft spot that he has for Jamie Foxx. From being someone whom he admired in childhood to still eagerly waiting to share the stage with him, the fandom that he has for the star is massive.

While Eubanks admires Foxx, it seems like the famous star also has a soft corner for the aspiring tennis star. As revealed by Frances Tiafoe during the Miami Open, Foxx flew all the way just to watch Eubanks play.

Back at the Miami Open in 2023, Frances Tiafoe revealed that Jamie Foxx traveled especially to see Chris Eubanks play. In an interview back then, Tiafoe revealed that it is a feeling that one cannot buy. “When you’re playing the Miami quarters, he (Jamie Foxx) came to watch you (Chris Eubanks) And that’s a dope thing, like he got on the plane to watch Chris Eubanks, and that’s a feeling you can’t buy,” revealed Tiafoe in the interview

Thus, Chris Eubanks who really admires Jamie Foxx a lot got a special gesture as he traveled the distance to see the young sensation make his mark in the tennis world. Not only was he happy by the gesture that the star displayed but was also stunned by his knowledge of the game.
