The promising rise of Frances Tiafoe since last year’s US Open has put considerable attention on the player. While following the ATP star, people have gotten to know about his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, who gave him a wholesome surprise in the finals of the ATP clay-court event in Houston.

Tiafoe secured his first victory on the ATP Tour this year after defeating Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the finals of the U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship. A straight-set victory right at the start of the clay-court season will be a huge morale boost for the American player. While thanking his people after his victory, he gave a very sweet shout-out to his girlfriend.

Surprisingly, he did not know that Ayan Broomfield was in Houston. So, seeing her there, cheering for him, made his day.

He later stated, “I see my girlfriend in the crowd and I was like, ‘I didn’t even know you were in Houston. I thought you were in LA!'”
