““Taylor and I had been together for two years. I’d been working a corporate job and was waking up at 3 a.m. to take meetings in the hotel room bathtub while he was sleeping. It got to a point where I said, ‘I can’t make my life work with yours if our careers are not somehow intertwined.’ He wanted me to travel with him full time — and he plays better when I’m there — so we said, ‘What are we going to do?’” shared Morgan Riddle, Taylor Frtiz girlfriend, in an interview last year. The answer came with a breakthrough- a 1.5 million-view TikTok ‘Get Ready With Me’ video filmed at the 2023 Australian Open- that launched her influencer career. However, behind a happy and cheerful WAG lies a girl who has had a long stint with anxiety.
In September last year, when Taylor Fritz aced his way to the quarterfinals, cheering for him was his GF Riddle. And during that time, Fritz acknowledged the challenges of a life on the road, including loneliness and limited downtime. Despite his success, he emphasizes the importance of Riddle’s support in navigating the emotional and mental demands of a constant travel schedule. Riddle, meanwhile, has been open about her mental health struggles.
“I’ve suffered from anxiety and depression since I was in high school,” she said. “People message me about these issues a lot, so I’ve continued to talk about them and share practical tips and tools I use, like therapy, reading, and podcasts. I can link my favorite lip gloss on my Instagram stories all day, but I also want to feel like what I’m doing is actually making an impact.” On January 6th, she dropped “practical tips” for anxiety on different occasions.

On Monday, Riddle hosted an ‘Ask-Me-Anything’ session on her Instagram story. As someone who travels with a pro player, she shared valuable tips for attending matches at Rod Laver Arena. Further, one fan asked her, “Do you have anxiety, if so how do you deal with it?”
Riddle responded candidly about her struggles with anxiety, stating, “I have had a baseline of mild anxiety for nothing in particular” and mentioned that she is “medicated for it.”

She suggested focusing on one object when feeling overwhelmed because “your brain can’t properly search for past negative memories without movement of the vagus nerve.” This little trick helps ground you in the present moment, making it easier to push those anxious thoughts aside. For panic attacks, she swears by biting into a lemon to help you feel more centered, along with relaxing your jaw and closing your eyes.

And if you’re flying, she has a great tip: hold ice cubes in one hand until they melt while practicing deep breathing. Just remember to “breathe in a deep breath, hold, breathe in a little more until your lungs are full, and then let out through the mouth. repeat 10x.”
In the past, Riddle has been vocal about seeking help in case one struggles with anxiety. “if you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, mental health, ANYTHING, please reach out to someone. i am always here & willing to listen & help in any way. there are plenty of people who love you, even when you don’t feel loved. there are plenty of people here to support you, even when you feel alone. so please don’t give up, someone on this earth needs you!” posted Morgan Riddle in July 2024 on Facebook.
Riddle is currently in Australia with Taylor Fritz, who just wrapped up his successful run at the United Cup in Sydney. They celebrated Team America’s victory over Poland last night, and now they’re heading to Melbourne for the Australian Open, where Fritz aims for his first major title of the season. Things are looking bright for both of them—Fritz kicks off his year with a win, while Riddle enjoys the finer things that life has to offer.

Nothing could kill Morgan’s vibe during the Australia trip
Before landing, she shared her packing preparations on Instagram, discussing which dresses to bring. After touching down early in December, she turned heads in comfy white and blue trousers paired with a blue bralette, complemented by a stylish tote and a refreshing fruit smoothie against the stunning backdrop of Sydney’s blue sea.
In her latest Instagram update, Riddle shared a selfie showcasing her sleeveless black tank top and trousers, but she cleverly focused on her new tan instead of her face. “Had therapy AND a spray tan today. double whammy nothing can kill my vibe,” she captioned the post, radiating positivity and confidence. Meanwhile, Fritz was busy on the court, playing a thrilling match at the United Cup alongside Coco Gauff.

On a lighter note for the pair, after his match, Fritz indulged in some leisure time watching episodes of the popular American TV show ‘Prison Break’ without Riddle. She playfully called him out on her Instagram story with a photo of him enjoying a meal at a restaurant, writing, “The face of a TRAITOR who watched 2 episodes of Prison Break without me.”
As this power couple continues to thrive in Australia, all eyes are on Fritz as he prepares for the Australian Open starting January 12. With both Riddle and Fritz riding high on good vibes, it builds curiosity to see what content they’ll share as they navigate this exciting chapter together. What are your thoughts on this?
