So it wasn’t a surprise to witness an emotional reaction from Riddle when a fan of her boyfriend and World No.4 Taylor Fritz unveiled her pet dog, named after the American ATP pro himself!

On Friday, Fritz’s fan, named @_katedenney, took to Instagram to share a picture of her new puppy. She apparently named him ‘Fritz’ as mentioned in her story. “Our new addition, Fritz, Named after @moorrgs boyfriend, @taylor_fritz,” she wrote while tagging both Fritz and his girlfriend Morgan Riddle. Well, it didn’t take long for Riddle to notice this picture. As expected, she was overwhelmed with emotions and extreme joy. Failing to resist her tears, Riddle put Fritz the puppy’s photo on her Instagram story. She simply expressed her happiness with three crying emojis, echoing her sentiments.

Right now, Riddle is in Australia to root for Fritz as he gears up for his Australian Open campaign. The 27-year-old, who was the 2024 ATP Finals runner-up, will kickstart his journey in Melbourne against compatriot Jenson Brooksby on January 14. But before diving deep into action on the court, he’s making sure to spend quality time with Riddle. A few days ago, the couple was seen sharing adorable moments after a heartwarming clip started making buzz on social media.

Morgan Riddle took to her TikTok on January 3, to post a clip with her beau, which showed her and Fritz welcoming 2025. It was the same clip shared by the official account of BOSS, a popular clothing brand a few days prior to that. Fritz partnered with BOSS last year in March, becoming its Global Brand Ambassador. Hence, the video from December was shot as promotional content for the company. Riddle and Fritz were seen sharing romantic vibes in the promotional video, as they revealed how their first date went.

The 2024 US Open finalist mentioned how his GF made him watch a horror movie on their first date. “Because you were like super into all the horror stuff and zombies. And I had the VR headset on you and you were playing Zombie Apocalypse,” the World No. 4 wrote. A week after this promotional video from BOSS, Riddle was seen hugging Fritz in a TikTok video shared by her. “Swinging into the new year in @BOSS,” she wrote.

Now that Fritz is all set to his Australian Open campaign, all eyes will be on Riddle how she cheers for him in the stands. She’s been at it, for past few seasons, traveling with him across various ATP tours. Despite not being into tennis much before meeting Fritz, her passion for the racket sport, courtesy her beau, has now reached another level, to say the least. The way she was screaming in joy and clapping for him in the crowd at the Wimbledon last summer, the US Open, and then the ATP Finals in Turin in November, was amazing.

Even Taylor Fritz confessed, on a previous occasion, how Riddle’s presence has brought a positive change to his life. “I think it’s great to just kind of have someone who is with you, supporting you, helping keep you focused. As someone who had nothing to do with tennis before, Morgan’s done an amazing job over the years just understanding it,” Fritz said in an interview with CNN, dated November 14.

“She gets it and also understands what it takes each week and throughout the year to help me play my best tennis and feel my best. I think that’s a big thing – having someone helping me at all times,” he added.
