Taylor Fritz‘s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle has fallen in love with Australia. She was the talk of the town in Melbourne over the last few days. But now it’s time for her to leave the ‘Land Down Under’. Fritz’s 2024 Australian Open campaign came to an end on Tuesday in the QF at the hands of Novak Djokovic.

But before leaving the country, Riddle expressed her love for Aussie food, culture and traditions. But what about Vegemite? Will that be a major miss from her breakfast table?

Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend reflects her love for Australia

Just like Riddle even Vegemite, was running the headlines in Melbourne during the Australian Open. What is Vegemite? It’s basically a popular Australian food spread, something which Riddle had earlier confessed to disliking. Earlier after the third-round victory of Taylor Frtiz in the AO, Riddle had announced that she’d eat a ‘jar of Vegemite’ if the American prevailed to the next round. Fritz won his fourth-round match against Stefanos Tsitsipas and was also handed a jar full of Vegemite to keep his girlfriend’s promise. Did Riddle like that gift? Well, her recent Instagram post while leaving Australia will give you the right answer. She shared a few glimpses of the moments she had spent during the Australian Open and wrote, “Back to 11 months of separation anxiety from quokkas, timtams, Melbourne coffee, hot Aussie girls, salad sandwiches & so much more. won’t miss the Vegemite though. So much love. till next time oz.”

Riddle has been dating Fritz since 2020 and has been his constant support through thick and thin. She even gives him company on his ATP Tours and documents their glamorous and adventurous lifestyle on her social media platforms.

Recently, Novak Djokovic defeated the 26-year-old American by 7-6(3),4-6,6-2,6-3 in a grueling 3-hour and 45-minute encounter at the Rod Laver Arena. Both the players overcame a blazing Melbourne afternoon, to give the fans a full exhibition of entertainment.

With this loss, Djokovic has now a 9-0 lead over Fritz in their H2H. She recently took to social media to appreciate her boyfriend’s performance at the AO. However, she didn’t forget to playfully tease Fritz for his ‘incredible’ record against world no.1. She wrote, “Taylor Fritz, I am so proud of you for such an amazing week!!! I love supporting you and having so much fun with you. (10th time will be the charm).” Fritz and Riddle have shared some beautiful moments with their fans during the Australian Open over the past few days.
