Novak Djokovic’s superfan, Pavvy G has built quite a rivalry on social media. He has taken multiple shots at the American legend over what he perceives as Roddick’s bias against Djokovic. However, amid all these rivalries, fans were surprised to see a recent tweet fromServed with Andy Roddick.In that, tweet, Pavvy G’s name was spotted right at the top spot of a list featuring the top supporters of Andy Roddick’s podcast.

They wrote,In the spirit of our exciting new podcast deal, we just wanted to extend a huge thank you to our biggest supporters. We couldn’t have done it without you,in the captions. Later on, even Pavvy G came up with a comment on that post. He shared a GIF that said,Keep your friends close but your enemies closer,and in the captions, he wrote,Well done all….👏.

Fans were quite shocked to see this and some of them even went on to troll Novak Djokovic’s biggest fan on the same. How did this rivalry between Novak Djokovic fans and Andy Roddick start, though? Well, the stormy relationship between Nole fans and Roddick goes way back! In 2023, when Andy Roddick presented Novak Djokovic his 24th Grand Slam title, some of the fans claimed that he looked a bitunhappy“. 

While speaking on facing severe criticisms from Nole fans, Roddick once said,I’m so scared of Nole’s Twitter people. I say something like he was breathing heavily and even though he was breathing heavily, they are like f– you! I just eat s– from them all the time. What did the fans now say to Pavvy G on getting listed as Roddick’s top supporter?

Do you know, ironically, Pavvy G was a huge Andy Roddick fan when he was a player before Novak Djokovic became the legend he is today? However, things got a bit bitter between the two in the last few years! Just a few months ago, we saw Pavvy G slamming Roddick for his bias on Jannik Sinner’s doping case. He even called him acoward.After that, Roddick came back at him replying,You don’t need access to harass me on this platform to post the clip to your followers. Just prove yourself right. Post the clip to back up what you said…. I don’t want you to send them to me. I also can’t stand for you lying and harassing. Just be truthful about what I say on my pod, and maybe even provide clips for what you say. Easy enough to prove yourself right if you’re telling the truth on this.

So, now after seeing him getting a spot on the list of top supporters of Andy Roddick’s podcast, one of the fans wrote,Thanks @pavyg to be the no 1 fan of @Served_Podcast, But @pavyg you are the biggest liar on the whole planet, I think you deserve to be the atp biggest liar award of 2024, Legend@andyroddick you are doing the great work, You don’t defend anyone you just talk the rational things.”

Even during Wimbledon, we saw Pavvy G slamming the American when Roddick criticized Novak Djokovic’s decision to build suspense over his participation in the tournament. Well, if we take a look back there have been multiple instances when Roddick was spotted taking a jibe like this on Djokovic. For example, he recently questioned the timing and manner in which Djokovic confirmed Andy Murray as his coach for the 2025 AO. He highlighted Rafael Nadal’s retirement during the same time and said,Is it fun to know that you can create a s**tstorm in the tennis world and override any storyline?Oh, oh, oh! Rafa retired this weekend? Should we dominate the headlines at the end of that week?There was zero reason why this needed to be announced.

Roddick faced a lot of criticism from Novak Djokovic fans at that time as well. Considering all of these, another fan said it’s quite hilarious to see the Serb’s biggest fan being the top supporter of Andy Roddick’s podcast. The fan tweeted,@pavyg being on here is objectively hilarious.

However, despite these criticisms of Djokovic, Andy Roddick has often praised the Serb for his heroics. During the 2023 US Open, he was heard saying,I wouldn’t bet against him on any given day, on any surface, in any format. It’s an impossibility to make a statistical argument against him being the best ever.However, even that didn’t stop him from getting criticized by Nole fans!
