Benoit Paire has always been that character on the court who has entertained the crowd with his flamboyant game style. But in these 17 years of his career, he has won only 3 singles titles. Recently, he took part in an ATP Challenger event in Madrid, where he was forced to retire from the match due to an undisclosed injury.

After the match, Benoit Paire took to X to make a harsh admission with a French Open deadline. He wrote, “Next tournament Bordeaux or Roland Garros see later depending on my head. Need to breathe because tennis is destroying me little by little. See you soon,” (Translated from French by Google). Bordeaux Open is set to commence on 13 May and will go on till 19 May. The French Open will start a day later, i.e. 20 May to 9 June. Fans will now have to wait a bit to see the ‘La Tige’ back in action.
