Gilbert’s interesting contribution to the film has been revealed to the media by the film’s famous actress and one of the protagonists, Zendaya. As this Hollywood star proceeds to showcase Tashi Duncan, she delves deeper into her experiences of “many many weeks of tennis training” from the 62-year-old world-famous coach.

Famous actress Zendaya opened up about “incredible tennis doubles” training under Brad Gilbert

Zendaya opened up about her journey with the movie Challengers so far. In an interview with the Daily Mail newspaper, Zendaya spoke about her experience working with Gilbert. She said- “We had an incredible group of people that we were surrounded by to train. We had many many weeks of tennis training under the guidance of Brad Gilbert, who is an iconic tennis coach himself. ”

Zendaya’s journey with Challengers brought her the utmost respect for the tennis players. Delving deeper into Gilbert’s guidance, Zendaya focused on how this journey taught her the difficulties of tennis. She further said- “We just trained beside each other, we did our tennis practise beside each other, we did rehearsals beside each other and we had incredible tennis doubles as well that we learned from and worked beside and who also made us look good. Listen, tennis is no joke. I have such a respect and admiration for the game, for the sport and the people who play. It is tough.”

Not only Zendaya but Brad Gilbert expressed equal happiness being a [part of this project. He shared his feelings about working with such a talented team.

Gilbert took his X (formerly Twitter) and wrote– “[It] was a lot of fun buddy! Working with @Zendaya,” Gilbert’s message confirmed that the team dropped their best and enjoyed the whole experience of working together for this film.
