Until next time

Federer’s loss was as devastating as it could be. Losing straight sets, with a 6-0 deficit in the final set, he seemed lost, out of focus, and low on energy.

The 39-year-old legend put on an incredibly tough fight, trying to make his way back into the game but fell victim to Hubert’s energy and pace.

Federer, clearly restricted by his age, played some beautiful shots while he also gifted his opponent with some points. Hence, the notion that this might be it for him, was set.
