Taylor Fritz‘s girlfriend Morgan Riddle wasn’t expecting to welcome Thanksgiving in an unexpected fashion, owing to her untimely illness. Earlier this week, the social media influencer revealed that she’s not well, after getting infected with Norovirus. However, Riddle’s got a fighting spirit which is evident from a new update from her on social media. But how did she get unwell in the first place?

After attending the ATP Finals in Turin to cheer BF Fritz, Morgan had to leave for Las Vegas to attend Formula One Grand Prix. She was okay, but once she got back home, she caught Norovirus, which made her vomit heavily and caused severe stomach pain. Few days back, she had informed about her condition in an Instagram story. “Have been fighting for my life for the last 48 hours. Truly wouldn’t wish norovirus upon my worst enemy,” she wrote. Additionally, she also revealed how she’s been sleeping for “unusually long” hours. “Literally I don’t remember anything since Sunday night,” she wrote in an IG story after logging 18 hours of sleep on Monday and 14 hours on the following day. Unfortunately, she’s still battling through her illness, as revealed in a latest story from Morgan Riddle. “happy thanksgiving”, she wrote, showing herself being bed-ridden and taking a drip to recover fast.

While she’s trying her best to get better as soon as possible, Fritz is on her side in more ways than one. A day before, Morgan revealed Taylor tried to lift up her spirits with a sweet gesture. He sent her a get-well-soon card which read, “Hope you feel better soon baby.” But that’s not the only thing he did for her.

Fritz never misses a chance to make Morgan Riddle feel good and he proved it again by sending something special for her amidst her road to recovery. In an Instagram story, dated November 28th, she was seen wearing a sweatshirt she received from Taylor. It had an unusually funny tagline, though. It read, “My tummy hearts, but I’m being really brave about it”.

In a response to this sweet act from her boyfriend, Morgan also wrote a message while expressing her happiness. Being extremely overwhelmed with her boyfriend’s heartwarming gesture, she wrote “taylor got me this millenial-a** sweatshirt and he thought it was so funny (he doesn’t understand internet culture so we will give him grace) but today felt like a good time to wear it”.

For those unaware, Morgan and Taylor were together last year to celebrate Thanksgiving. Morgan had made food by herself, as revealed by Taylor on Instagram. “Cooked a whole Thanksgiving dinner by herself,” read the caption by him. On the contrary, they are not together this time to welcome the festive vibes. However, their love still continues to blossom even when they are away.
