Chris Eubanks makes a candid confession

Recently, Eubanks made an appearance in the Pure Tennis Podcast. During the talk show, he revealed changes in his routine to sustain himself at the top level. Talking about this, he said, “Those things, sustaining the physio and getting massages are things that I probably dismissed early in my career because I wanted to focus more on the court training and in the gym and getting my workouts in.”

Further, the American star also went on to explain the changes required after getting into the limelight. On this front, he said, “And the sleep, the nutrition the like you say the maintenance on the body is something I just didn’t really buy into, I would do it in phases. And then if I would fight well, I will continue but when I lost, I will stop. That’s got to change now.”

Earlier this year, Eubanks clinched his maiden ATP title in Mallorca. It was an incredible effort by the unseeded star, defeating Adrian Mannarino in the final to clinch the title. However, he has a concerning thing ahead of the US Open.

Earlier this week, the American suffered a disappointing defeat against Gael Monfils in the first round of the National Bank Open.
