The Russian tennis star, in an astounding move, took down a top-form Alcaraz from the race and now has secured a place in the finals of the US Open. The former coach of Serena Williams could not have been more thrilled about this face-off amidst the rising debates about Gen Z gradually asserting their presence on the circuit. The tennis coach took to her Twitter to share her verdict as she celebrated Medvedev’s victory over Alcaraz.

She stated, “Meddy v Djokovic wowza! Going to be a great final.” Noting how both Djokovic and Medvedev took down their Gen Z opponents, she hailed their performance. Moreover, she added, “The men took care of the young men today!”
