Andy plans ahead

Murray had breezed past the first round after defeating Federico Delbonis in the first round. Moreover, in the second round, he had served nicely in the opening set, but Daniil Medvedev kept up an aggressive play throughout the game and emerged triumphantly. The score was 6-4, 6-2. This defeat has made the Scot take a break and plan for the upcoming tour. He is focused on training for now. He said, “I’m going to train the next three or four weeks here on the hard courts”. The player had made his intention clear of not playing clay season in 2022 during the press conference of the Indian Wells 2022.

Andy Murray is back with Ivan Lendl

The Scot achieved the 700th win of his career in the first round of the Indian Wells. However, he had to take an exit out of the tournament after getting defeated in the second round. Andy Murray had recently announced a collaboration with his former Czech coach Ivan Lendl after breaking off twice before. He wants to change his way of practice and believes that the coach would bring clarity. He hopes to better his performance so that he can play competitively with the top players once again.
