There’s not much time left for the ATP Finals. The premium tournament features the top eight male tennis players of the year. The selection of players depends on their performance year-round in the ATP tournaments. However, due to its ban on Russian and Belarusian players, Wimbledon lost its ranking points.
This directly impacted the players like Cameron Norrie, and Nick Kyrgios, who did well in the tournament. The two failed to qualify for the ATP Tour Finals. However, Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic got a fast-track entry to the ATP Tour Finals.

Cameron Norrie reacted to the selection of Novak Djokovic
While there were 0 ranking points for players in the Wimbledon Championships this year, Novak Djokovic got the advantage of winning the title. He got a special entry in the ATP Finals. However, the other players who did well in Wimbledon have got no advantage from their performance.
“Djokovic obviously qualified [for Turin] from Wimbledon, so that seems a bit strange, but that’s the way it is. It seems unfair [to me, and] I guess for [Nick] Kyrgios as well. He lost the final, and he gets nothing,” Norrie said.
Here’s how the fans reacted to it.

Djokovic is doing him a favor. If he played the finals he'd probably end up being double bagelled by Medvedev or Felix 😂😂😂

These guys have no shame. Djokovic is the best player in the world [We ain't even complaining about the robbed Wimbledon points/his Australia deportation/ the USO fiasco) and this stooge thinks he should be playing the ATP Finals ahead of him.

While it’s a fact that Djokovic is among the best ever in the history of tennis, it certainly would have hurt Norrie to see a player get an advantage of the Wimbledon run, while he did not. What’s your opinion about this? Let us know in the comments.
