Novak Djokovic and Serbian stars inspire prodigy

Djokovic is the most iconic player to come out of Serbia. The 36-year-old, who came from a country that was mostly cold, took the tennis world by storm and is still the favorite in all of the tournaments he plays. He has created history in tennis and inspired many players from his country to make it big in the sport. Along with him, Viktor Troicki and Janko Tipsarevic have also served as an inspiration to the players from their country.

Their efforts to make the name of their country pushed Hamad Medjedovic to pick up the racket. In an interview with the ATP, he said, “I remember starting to watch tennis when I was a kid. We had Novak [Djokovic], Viktor [Troicki] and Janko [Tipsarevic], and they were so good.”

He further explained, “I remember watching them constantly. As a kid it gave me a lot of motivation to start playing tennis and then to become one of them because I saw that they could do it. They’re coming from a small country, same as me, and it gave me a lot of motivation and self-belief that I could do it as well.”

Along with Medjedovic, the Serbinator has inspired other youngsters to become better versions of themselves and put much effort into their tennis careers.

The Djoker backs up Hamad Medjedovic

The Serbian tennis player has often demonstrated that he has a golden heart. Eldin Medjedovic, the young Serb’s father, opened out about Djokovic’s participation in an interview, saying he couldn’t believe it at first. Eldin revealed that Djokovic had taken care of all of the financial responsibilities of Medjedovic. When Djokovic revealed what could take place in Hamad’s career next, Eldin was wary as it cost a lot.

However, Djokovic eased his worries when he said that he would take care of the finances as he wasn’t focused on growing Hamad for the money. The 24-time grand slam champion told Eldin to make sure Hamad works hard, and he would take care of the rest. His efforts are proving to be true, as Hamad has grown significantly since last year. His progress will be seen in the coming times as he is supported by the Djoker.
