‘Think They’re Experts on the Sport’ – Taylor Fritz Gives a Befitting Reply to Some Fans for Hating on His Partner’s Video

World No.17, Taylor Fritz is slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with on the tour. Recently, the 24-year-old- American tennis star achieved his highest ever ranking (17). He’s also the highest-ranked men’s singles American tennis player right now. Taylor started 2022 in great fashion, as he reached the fourth round of the Australian Open for the very first time.

Meanwhile, Taylor’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, has been promoting tennis on social media and getting a huge response. However, it’s also getting her some flak for promoting tennis in such a way, and Taylor Fritz wasn’t thrilled about the negative comments. 

Taylor Fritz has something to say for the haters 

Earlier, Morgan Riddle posted a video on TikTok about tennis as she felt tennis is relatively an unknown sport in the USA. She described many things about her partner, Taylor Fritz, as a tennis player. In the video, Riddle also talked about the Netflix documentary about tennis which will come out next year.

“I travel the world on the ATP Tour with my boyfriend who is the No. 1 ranked American tennis player… Tennis is a year-round sport except for four weeks off in December. Players compete in tournaments in 31 countries and cities like Dubai, Paris, Shanghai, London, Rome, Cabos, and many more,” Morgan said in a TikTok video. 

Morgan also explained the luxury side of tennis, as she said, “Tennis tournaments are not your casual sporting event with hotdogs and beer. You can expect champagne, strawberries and cream, nobu and getting to wear really cute outfits.”

Although many fans liked her enthusiasm, some fans criticized Riddle for this. After a Twitter exchange, Taylor Fritz came to Riddle’s defense and gave a befitting reply to some of the haters. Fritz said, “People really can name a couple of the all time greats and think they’re experts on the sport.”

Fritz crashed out of the Dallas Open

Last month, Fritz reached the second week of a Grand Slam for the very first time. His performance reflects on his rankings, as he entered the top 20 for the very first time. 

Meanwhile, Fritz lost to another American, Marcos Giron, in the quarter-final of the Dallas Open. After beating Jack Sock in the Previous round, this result will definitely not please the 17th-ranked American.
