Well, Rick Macci strongly denies it, suggesting that Djokovic has plenty more left in store despite all these setbacks. He strongly believes Novak Djokovic will make a comeback in 2024. But he believes what Novak Djokovic did in 2023 was truly exceptional. However, according to Rick Macci Djokovic hasn’t gotten enough credit for his efforts. Rick Macci during a recent interview stated, “Well, first off, if he would have approached me, we would have had to have a long talk because I have to know exactly what he wanted from a coach. I don’t travel.” Macci is someone who strongly believes in building the box rather than just sitting in that box. He pointed out that Novak Djokovic wouldn’t love to make significant changes to his game at this stage of his career.

But he added, “If he would’ve asked me, I definitely would have been involved. But, I couldn’t travel. Maybe, I could’ve went to a Grand Slam. But at the end of the day, I run a business.
