Australian professional tennis player Nick Kyrgios is famous for his off the court fun and mischiefs. He is the one who loves to take digs and jibes at players and is renowned for making some controversial comments about his different opponents.
Recently, Nick Kyrgios posted an intriguing post on his Instagram story. In the post, there was a picture of the Kyrgios’ Twitter wall where he put up a picture of Daniil Medvedev on his background picture. It was a way of Kyrgios to draw the attention of the tennis fans on the incident that happened with the World No.3 player at the US Open 2019.
“This was all time haha,” wrote Kyrgios in the story along with the post.

Medvedev had quite a great tournament at the US Open 2019. Even though he played some brilliant tennis at the Grand Slam, he lost to Rafael Nadal in the finals.
However, Kyrgios’ story was actually targeting the Russian player. He put his picture on his background on Twitter to taunt him about his inappropriate reaction towards the fans. Medvedev caught up with an unhealthy argument with the crowd and even faced a code violation for the same. Things later got worse for him as he had to pay a fine for his actions at the US Open 2019.

Nick Kyrgios played some really exceptional tennis after his return at the Australian Open 2021. He didn’t play much tennis in the last year due to a back problem but made a spectacular comeback in Melbourne.
Even though he lost to Dominic Thiem at the Australian Open 2021, he gave him a pretty decent fight. He was able to put a lot of pressure on the World No.4 player but lost a close contest against him.
