Brooke Shields, the actress and former wife of tennis legend Andre Agassi, answered this question in a recent interview with The New Yorker. She recounts her time on the set of the popular sitcom “FRIENDS”, where the incident happened. Shields reveals that Agassi had an unexpected reaction after witnessing her perform a “comedy” scene. In the scene, she had to lick the fingers of Matt LeBlanc’s character, Joey.

During the interview, Shields recalled the incident, saying, “In the scene, I’m supposed to lick Joey’s fingers, because they’re the hands of a genius, and I want to devour them, and I’m a nut. He was cute—he was, like, “I’ve washed my hands and they’re all clean.” I was, like, “I had a mint!”. She then talks about the well-liked star who played Joey, “Very considerate co-star, Matt LeBlanc.”

She also speculates that Agassi’s unfortunate addiction to crystal meth at the time may have contributed to his irrational behavior, as she was taken aback by it. However, Agassi has not commented on this claim. Shields also reveals a horrifying aftermath of this reaction where Agassi smashed all his trophies after he went home from the set. She said, “Smashed all his trophies. Who wins for that? That’s just—don’t!”
