The Serbian tennis player, Novak Djokovic, is not only enhancing his country’s profile on the tennis court but also attempting to aid his country as much as possible through his foundation. Since its establishment in 2007, the 23-time Grand Slam winner’s charity, the Novak Djokovic Foundation, has been actively advancing early childhood education and development. While the Serbian star is on the court, his wife, Jelena Djokovic, oversees the foundation’s activities.
As a supporter of the NDF, the 36-year-old tennis player’s wife recently broke the terrible news that the organization had lost some of its most passionate supporters. Just two days ago, she expressed an enormous amount of sorrow over the loss of a significant supporter and contributor to the NDF, Padma Rajan. And now, to keep her legacy alive, Jelena has taken a step forward, urging people to give and keep her cause alive.

Novak Djokovic’s wife urges NDF supporters to donate
Padma Rajan was one of the foundation’s most ardent supporters. An Indian-origin entrepreneur and philanthropist who has been actively involved in various charitable causes, especially in the field of education in Serbia, along with the NDF. And now, just a few days after her demise, the Serbian tennis player’s wife, who is also a part of the foundation, took the initiative to help her legacy as an NDF member urging them to donate and keep her campaign alive.
She recently took to her Instagram account to share a story that talked about supporting Rajan’s campaign in her honor. Jelena shared a post that was shared by Djokovic’s fan page, which talked about donating and raising funds for the campaign that the Indian origin was working on.

Even after being a philanthropist, her fandom for the 23-time Grand Slam champion made her contribute to the development of children in Serbia. Not only that, she was one of the top contributors to the Novak Djokovic Foundations, focusing on early child education and early child development for more than 10 years.
Nevertheless, the news of her demise was indeed a shock for everyone associated with the NDF, particularly Jelena Djokovic. Just two days ago, she also shared a note on losing an NDF member.

Following the heartbreaking news, the 36-year-old tennis star’s wife posted a small reminiscence of the moment she first met Padma on Twitter. She remembered how compassionate Padma had been in their first meeting, highlighting what a lovely spirit she was.
My condolences to the family, to her two children she loved and cared for very much. I am really sad and heartbroken to learn about her passing. Whole @novakfoundation loved her enthusiasm and passion for ECD and we valued her support over the years. May she rest in peace. 🙏🏻

Additionally, she expressed her appreciation on behalf of the foundation and noted that, as a member of the NDF, she had genuinely treasured her assistance throughout the years. And given the manner in which she has rallied supporters to join her cause, it wouldn’t be inaccurate to state that the Djokovic Foundation truly views the foundation as a family.
