With French Open going in full swing, the heat is quite high amongst the players. One such young player is Holger Rune who definitely has proved his worth on the court. However, when he is off of it, he is not ready to take on some superfluous remark. Despite being a sensational player on the court, Rune has garnered a negative name in the tennis realm because of his rude demeanor, especially after last year’s cold handshake with opponent Casper Ruud.

Once again, as he has made it into the quarter-finals of the French Open, he is not ready to listen to anyone’s remarks on sportsmanship.

Holger Rune trolls a tennis enthusiast for giving him an unnecessary remark

The Danish player has continued to grow in the tournament since last year. However, along with his growth, the focus has also been on his on-court conduct which as per tennis standards has been quite rude and confrontational.

Once again, as a tennis enthusiast pointed out that Rune should show sportsmanship on the court, the Danish player had some sharp retort to it. The tennis enthusiast reacted to the quote where Rune wanted to have less drama this year after having a cold face-off with Casper Ruud last year at the quarter-finals of the French Open.

Rune, however, did not like the “advice” and especially the emojis. So, at first, he mocked their English, “I really don’t understand what you write? You express yourself very bad.”

After that, he added, “And the ugly emojis is you? I guess so.” Rune is not of the belief to ignore unnecessary comments.

However, he also retorts back sharply whenever he is put under scrutiny which has garnered him a lot of negative limelight.

Rune wishes to have less drama with Casper Ruud this year 

Interestingly, the duo had a face-off against each other in the quarter-finals of the French Open only. However, Rune got a lot of backlash because of his cold handshake with his opponent Ruud after losing the match.

However, Rune defended himself by calling Ruud “unsportsmanlike”. He also stated that the Norwegian player shouted in his face in the locker room.
